The Triple Taproom, an East Side venture of Door County Brewing, Hacienda Beer and 3 Sheeps Brewing, has closed.
The jointly owned Hacienda and Door County Brewing announced the closure Tuesday morning. “We’re incredibly grateful for the time we’ve had in Milwaukee – it’s been an amazing journey filled with great food, cold pints and even better company,” the business said in a post on Instagram.
The original locations of both breweries – 3 Sheeps in Sheboygan and Door County Brewing/Hacienda in Baileys Harbor – remain unaffected.

The taproom opened in 2019 under just the Hacienda banner in the longtime BBC bar at 2018 E. North Ave. The Door County brand joined later, and 3 Sheeps joined the location in July 2024, when it was rebranded to the Tiple Taproom.
Grant Pauly, founder of 3 Sheeps, said in an announcement also posted Tuesday morning that the decision to close was made by Door County/Hacienda. “We want to be clear: This is not a reflection of the state of 3 Sheeps Brewing,” Pauly said in the statement. “Milwaukee has always been an important part of our story, and that’s not changing.”
