Dino’s in Riverwest Is Set to Debut Its Food Menu

The beloved Riverwest bar reopened, under new ownership, back in December.

After announcing last fall that Dino’s in Riverwest (808 E. Chambers St.) was getting a new lease on life, courtesy of new owners Dan Budziszewski and Mike Brumm, the bar has been back in operation since December, pouring drinks and hosting karaoke and open jam nights.

This Saturday (Feb. 5), the business is kicking off its food menu with a soft kitchen opening (4-10 p.m.). It’s a limited menu to start, but the offerings will expand over time, to include fish fry, brunch, pizza and entrees. Dino’s debut menu includes appetizers, handhelds and one dessert. Among the apps, you’ll find Dino’s famous grilled wings, chicken “tendies,” cheese curds with pomodoro sauce, and hand-cut fries ($5-$13). Handheld options range from a double cheeseburger on a Breadsmith bun to a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with house-made pickles and sambal aioli to a three-cheese grilled cheese on sourdough ($10-$14). The featured dessert is a house-made cream puff with bourbon whipped cream and maple creme anglaise ($8).

Feeling hungry? Man, I am.

Food service hours (after soft-opening Saturday): Tues-Fri 4-10 p.m.; Sat noon-10 p.m.
