He’s gone from stand-up comedian to a sitcom about life as a stand-up comedian to hosting a Web series featuring cars, coffee and interviews with, you guessed it, comedians. But Jerry Seinfeld still stands and delivers, too. These days, the 60-year-old is married and raising the couple’s three kids, which might sound like a sitcom pitch. But he says he’ll never do another one of those. Oct. 10. Riverside Theater.

When the new year approaches, you expect two things: the ball dropping in New York, and Jim Gaffigan dropping into Milwaukee. Married to a Milwaukeean, he keeps celebrating the holidays here, and he’ll do so again for an eighth consecutive year. In 2013, his five young children brought the house down with an off-the-charts cute intro of Daddy. Raise a toast to family traditions. Dec. 30. Pabst Theater. 

Back in 2003, NBC capitalized on the popularity of reality-TV contests by banking on a mix of petty drama and potent laughs with its first “Last Comic Standing.” Refreshed for 2014, the show now matches aspiring comedians with mentors like Howie Mandel and Wanda Sykes. This tour features the top five finalists, all surely standing. Nov. 14. Pabst Theater.

They do sketch comedy like Salvador Dali did sketches. Yes, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and John C. “Dr. Steve” Reilly (aka Tim and Eric & Dr. Steve Brule) can be surreal, but Adult Swim fans have loved the resulting masterpieces since 2007. Sept. 25. Pabst Theater. 

She’s a 6-foot-2, 70-year-old former Miss North Carolina who won Miss Congeniality in the 1963 Miss America pageant. Jeanne Robertson still backs up the bio with jewelry, high heels and homespun stories, all told with perfect posture. Oct. 17. Pabst Theater.
