The Third Ward butcher shop/resto gives a lift to Hump Day.

Give it up for the Bavette burger. It comes only on Wednesday nights during the more temperate weather months (when owner Karen Bell isn’t outside freezing her duff off at the grill). The toppings on the half-pound, grass-fed burger change weekly. Tonight it comes with pea pesto, goat cheese, bacon and mushrooms, and with a side of couscous salad ($14). Burger night hours: 5-9 p.m. (330 E. Menomonee St., 414-273-3375)
