Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) hosts a unique blindfolded beer and food pairing to benefit Vision Forward. For $35 you can sample four beers paired with four foods, but you won’t know what they are until you’ve tried them. The doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Try beers from Shorts Brewing from 4 to 7 p.m. at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.).
Wednesday, July 17
Vennture Brew Co. heads west on North Ave. to take over the taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 5 p.m.
Fruit beers are the subject of this week’s meeting of the Milwaukee Beer Society at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.). Get there at 6 p.m. to sample a few.
Thursday, July 18
Milwaukee Brewing takes over the taps at East Town Kitchen & Bar (323 E. Wisconsin Ave.) from 6 to 8 p.m. Taps are $5 and earn you a chance to win cool stuff like tickets to the Milwaukee Brewing beer dinner on July 25.
Friday, July 19
Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) releases a new beer, International Intrigue IIPA, with a tapping at 2 p.m. The brew is made with hops from four continents, hence the name.
Milwaukee Brewing is releasing Coconut Water Cream Ale, part of the limited taproom only Brewers Day Off series. You can try the beer at the Milwaukee Ale House (233 N. Water St.) and at both Milwaukee Brewing locations (1128 N. 9th St. and 613 S. 2nd St.).
Sample beers from Duvel at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, July 20
It’s another Saturday beer release for Good City Brewing (2108 N. Farwell Ave.). Actually, it’s two releases. Batch #500 Wheat Wine Ale will be available in a limited amount of bottles starting at 11 a.m. Scarcity Passionfruit Gose is a taproom exclusive beer that will be available to go in four packs.
Sierra Nevada takes over some of taps at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) at 3 p.m. and is bringing some beer games with them like bags and big beer pong. The Brass Tap is also having a pig roast to go with those tasty beers.
Bofferding hands out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 3 p.m.
Sunday, July 21
Dog Days at Third Space means treats for your best friend, dog merchandise, adoptable dogs from the Rescue Gang, and even a visit from a vet who will be there to answer questions. For humans, there will be Third Space beer, of course, and food from Maxie’s. The fun starts at noon.
