Yoga at breweries has certainly caught on. The first chance to pair your workout with a beer or two happens at Fermentorium (7481 State Road 60, Cedarburg) with Downdogs & Drafts at 6:30 p.m.

The Milwaukee Beer Society samples newly released beers to celebrate the new year. The tasting happens from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.).
Thursday, Jan. 9
Lakefront Brewing heads to Club Garibaldi (2501 S. Superior St.) for the release of My Turn: DeSantis Italian Grape Ale. Get there at 7 p.m. to try the new brew.
Friday, Jan. 10
Try beers from Chicago standout Maplewood Brewery from 4 to 6 p.m. at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.).
Saturday, Jan. 11
Try rarities from 19 different Milwaukee breweries at the first-ever Winter Whales Rare Beer Fest. The fest happens at Best Place and includes a pair of sessions (noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m.). This may prove to be one of the best beer tastings of the year, so it’s a good idea to invest in the $50 ticket.
Milwaukee Burger Company (6421 S. 27th St.) hosts the Flights and Bites Projekt starting at 11 a.m. The event includes the release of the limited Tropical Trance Milkshake IPA, a collab between The Brewing Projekt and Eagle Park Brewing. Other Brewing Projekt beers are on tap and you can pair them with specialty burgers for just $20. Yep.

Wrap up the week with a beer yoga session at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 10:30 a.m.
