Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) hosts a Halloween Tap Takover starting at 5 p.m. with great beers and food trucks. It’d be silly not to be there.
The Milwaukee Beer Society is pairing Halloween candy with beers at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.) starting at 6 p.m. I’m guessing it’ll be more treat than trick.
The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) has been pairing Halloween candy with beer for three years now. Check out the menu for this year.
Untitled Art’s Candy Bowl Halloween Party at Burnhearts (2599 S. Logan Ave.) starts at 7 p.m. and features a few pastry stouts by the brewery, including a Black Stout with Halloween candy infusion.
Thursday, Nov. 1
Explorium Brewpub (5300 S. 76th St.) hosts the release of a collaboration with Neenah’s Lion’s Tail Brewing Company, and it’s all for charity. ‘Stache the Nuts is a roasted pecan brown ale and proceeds from its sale benefit the Movember Foundation. Explorium also hopes to raise awareness about men’s health issues. Get there at 5 p.m. to try the new brew and take part in the charity.
Friday, Nov. 2
Head to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) to try Happy Happy IIPA, a dry hopped gem from an outstanding brewery.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) hands out samples from Ahnapee Brewing and City Lights from 3 to 6 p.m.
Karben4 comes to Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 3
Explorium Brewpub hosts its second Lost in the Sauce release at 2 p.m. The second batch of the hazy IPA will be available in bottles and on tap. The event includes live music and giveaways.
Saturday is a big day for limited beer releases. At 10 a.m., Raised Grain Brewing (2244 W. Bluemound Rd.) opens its doors to patrons looking to pick up Les Trois Docteurs Pinot Noir Barrel-Aged Belgian Quad.
Try samples from Wisconsin Brewing (noon to 3 p.m.) and Revolution Brewing (noon to 2 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee.
