The Milwaukee Beer Society samples pumpkin beers from 6 to 9 p.m. at Best Place (901 W. Juneau Ave.).
Thursday, Oct. 18
The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) hosts Revolution Brewing at 4 p.m. Chicago’s brewery is bringing two Deep Wood Series kegs and a few other standouts.

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) offers samples from Revolution and Wisconsin Brewing from 4 to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 20
The Brass Tap has another big tap event. 20 Taps for 20 Years is a tap takeover that highlights just how good Central Waters Brewing is. The day starts off with an 11 a.m. tapping of Black Gold Imperial Stout and at 2:30 p.m. the bar taps a Twenty Imperial Stout. Several other barrel-aged and limited brews are on the menu.
Cheers to Draft & Vessel (4417 N. Oakland Ave.) for celebrating its fourth birthday. Starting at 11 a.m. expect to see some great beers on tap, including Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA, a couple of Goose Island Bourbon County Stouts and more.
Head to Northern Brewer (1306 S. 108th St.) at 11 a.m. for a one-hour Learn to Homebrew course. The learning is free and includes discounts on equipment to get you started.
