13 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 30-Nov. 3

A big anniversary for Foxtown Brewing, a couple of Halloween events and more for craft beer lovers this week.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

Ray’s Bar (8930 W. North Ave.) hosts a good old fashioned bottle share. Cost is $10 and the event benefits Chained Dogs MKE. See the details on the event page.

Eagle Park Brewing is taking over some of the taps at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.), and from 5 to 7 p.m. you get to keep the pint glass when you order one.

The weekly beer release at 1840 Brewing Company is Such a Good Day IPA, a West Coast IPA made with Simcoe hops.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Nightmare at the Brewery brings Halloween fun to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be specials on Eastside Dark, a costume contest, scary movies, and even an R-rated brewery tour.

There’s a Halloween party happening at Ray’s Bar from 4 to 9 p.m. There will be Halloween-themed beers and cocktails being poured, and a costume contest.

Friday, Nov. 1

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is having a traditional Kölsch-style beer service from 5 to 10 p.m. Servers will keep the crisp brew coming until you top your glass with a coaster to signal that you’re done.

Try samples of Third Space Brewing’s new Marquette Golden Ale at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) has samples from Brasserie d’Achouffe from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Milwaukee’s Bike & Brew Tour starts at the Triple Taproom (2018 E. North Ave.) at 11 a.m. The ride makes stops at Black Husky Brewing, Pilot Project Brewing, Sprecher Brewing and Component Brewing and costs just $25 to be a part of.

Downtown Racine is the site of the Bacon & Beer Walk from 1 to 6 p.m. Sample craft beer and bacon-based appetizers at local businesses. The price for delicious event is just $40.

Foxtown Brewing (6411 W. Mequon Rd.) celebrates five years of business with a party and a barrel-aged release.

Try samples from Revolution Brewing and Indeed Brewing at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 3

Stretch & Sip Yoga comes to Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) from 11 a.m. to noon. Reserve a spot for $20.

Friday, Nov. 8: Third Space Brewing is releasing Charlie Mike American Pilsner. A portion of the proceeds benefit Wisconsin’s Center for Veterans Issues.

Sunday, Nov. 17: The next Beer School at Third Space Brewing is Beans and Brews. It will explore coffee, beer and how the two can gloriously interact. Tickets are $30 and the event will likely sell out soon.
