6 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Jan. 9-12

Early January means a bit a slow down when it comes to craft beer events. But there are still a few items on the schedule to keep beer lovers busy.

Thursday, Jan. 9

Kegel’s Inn (5901 W. National Ave.) hosts an N/A Day celebration with dozens of non-alcoholic beers, seltzers, wines, and more. The fun runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and tickets are $35 at the door.


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

Friday, Jan. 10

Learn how to make vegetarian dumplings during a cooking class at Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.). Class runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and costs $55.

Gallery Night is happening at Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) from 6 to 10 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 11

Component Brewing is manning the beer garden at Winterfest, taking place at New Berlin’s Malone Park (16400 Al Stigler Pkwy.) from 2 to 7 p.m.

Yoga on Tap comes to Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) at 11 a.m. For $20 you get a workout and a beverage.

Sunday, Jan. 12

There’s a pop-up winter farmers market happening at Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 15: The first Beer School of the year at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) examines winter warmers.

Thursday, Jan. 16: The Library Society meets at Explorium Brewpub’s Third Ward location (143 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 7 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 24 to Saturday, Jan. 25: The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) has a big two-day party planned to celebrate its 10th anniversary. They’ll be pouring several barrel-aged rarities. Check out the impressive list on the event page.

Saturday, Jan. 25: Save a spot on the calendar for Ice Bear Fest, the big winter party at Third Space Brewing. Details are coming soon.

Saturday, Feb. 1: Mittenfest is back at Burnhearts! The amazing outdoor event took place at Boone & Crockett last year but returns to its original location
