Afternoon Links for March 3, 2015

Because variety is the spice of life.

Mull these over with your afternoon tea:

  • David Petraeus, the former CIA director, has pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material, which he shared with his then-mistress and biographer, Paula Broadwell.
  • In what turned out to be quite the divisive political spectacle, Israel’s Prime Minister spoke to Congress about Iran today, with one Wisconsin Congresswoman declining  to attend what she called a “campaign stunt.”
  • Google will try its hand at wireless Internet, says Wired.
  • Hooray for nostalgia: the scribes at Milwaukee Record look back at Kaleidoscope, a one-time underground local newspaper that has recently been digitized thanks to UWM.
  • You can now put your anger to good use with a new free app that allows users to report potholes around the city.
