“They’re done.” Silence. That’s all he said. I had just tuned into SportsRadio 1250, and they had just taken a call.  The caller, apparently convinced a 0-4 start meant – or means – the end of the season for the 2011 Brewers, simply said, “They’re done.”  As if that was that. I didn’t even get a chance to visit Miller Park yet this season! Needless to say, I’m choosing not to listen to this guy.  Well…I take that back.  Given the context of the statement, I do find his comment humorous.  Hilarious, even.  So there is that.  But, of course,…

Needless to say, I’m choosing not to listen to this guy.  Well…I take that back.  Given the context of the statement, I do find his comment humorous.  Hilarious, even.  So there is that.  But, of course, it lacks legitimacy.

I’m going to the Brewers/Braves game tonight and I’m calling it “Opening Day – Take 2.”  Aside from a beer and a Klement’s Famous Racing Sausage Kabob, I’m looking forward to a Brew Crew win.
