The Brewers Get Happy

It’s been a heckuva start for your Milwaukee Brewers this season. Entering Thursday’s action, no team in baseball had more wins nor a better run differential than the Crew, which has ridden a five-game win streak to first place in the National League Central Division. It’s been a heckuva start for your Milwaukee Brewers this season. Entering Thursday’s action, no team in baseball had more wins nor a better run differential than the Crew, which has ridden a five-game win streak to first place in the National League Central Division.

But even if the Brewers were winless, their fans would still have something to smile about. Because they’ve made their own version of a “Happy” video.

We’re pretty sure there are no Pharrell cameos mixed in among the many dancing Brewers. But there is some bipartisan happiness featuring Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. You can also see chest-bumping broadcasters Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder along with a trumpet-playing Bob Uecker. And the Brewers made sure to get face time for plenty of out-of-the-spotlight employees, including press box workers, organist Dean Rosko, longtime usher Lou Montgomery and beer guru Iceman.

And of course, it wouldn’t be 2014 without a few glimpses of Hank the Dog.

Somewhere, Bobby McFerrin surely approves.
