She’s like your fashion fairy godmother – Lizzi Weasler brings affordable clothing and accessories right to your door. Her business Lizzibeth offers an online store, personal shopping, wedding styling and private shopping parties where she brings a selection of clothing and jewelry to you and your friends and helps you find pieces to complete your look.
Lizzibeth’s largest pop-up shop (and fashion show) will take place Saturday night, March 8 at Whiskey Bar (788 N. Jackson St.) in honor of her shop’s first birthday. The event will double as a fundraiser for WGirls Milwaukee, an organization that volunteers and fund raises for local nonprofits that support women and children.
Lizzibeth caters to women of all ages with a carefully edited array of clothing, jewelry, handbags and scarves. All merchandise is under $100 and most jewelry is under $40. Weasler studied Civil Engineering at Marquette, but spent time in New York to test out the fashion scene and knew she wanted to pursue her own business. She has been testing this new method of an online boutique and tailoring services as she goes along, while responding to what her clientele wants.
She secures clothing from markets in New York and hopes to expand her jewelry line soon to include local vendors. About 60-70 percent of her business is local and she even offers delivery service.
Weasler describes her style as classic and modern with a lot of layering and statement pieces. So, if you don’t know what to wear to the party on March 8, arrive with a blank slate (i.e. all black, not your skivvies) and she can help you put together a great look.
There will be a $5 suggested donation at the door. See more information about the event on the Facebook Invite.
