The Milwaukee toolmaker has promised to add 32 jobs at the facility (which makes saw blades) as part of the $15 million expansion, according to The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss. Local authorities will pitch in a smaller grant to help subsidize the project.

Milwaukee Tool received some $1.5 million in state tax credits in Wisconsin in 2011 to expand the research and development division at its Brookfield headquarters and add about 100 jobs. The company makes power drills, handheld saws and other tools that bear its high-contrast, retro-lightning-bolt logo.
