If there is a large anarchist demonstration, Vermin Supreme is sure to be in the crowd, and it’s not hard to spot him. He often wears a rain boot as a hat and carries his megaphone. Supreme is an icon who many of the younger activists call a hero.
They like him so much that chants of “Vermin for President” broke out practically every time he spoke. In fact, Vermin has run as an alternative candidate in various local and national elections, including his current bid for President.
Many people danced around while shouting about being a “crazy, scary anarchist,” but Vermin’s goofy appearance and jolly voice make his joking behavior especially potent. On more than a few occasions, police were called out on Vermin’s iconic megaphone after failing to hide their grins.
For those who are curious, some of the main issues on Vermin’s presidential platform are: a mandatory toothbrushing law, funding for time travel research, and raising awareness about an impending zombie apocalypse.
Oh, and everyone gets a free pony.
