Where will the local fashion set be next Friday, May 11? We have two guesses. And whether you’re keeping an eye on the latest trends or looking for retro-chic inspiration, you’ll likely find sartorial satisfaction at one of these.
Mt. Mary College’s student fashion show, “CREO 2012: Evoke,” will showcase designs from students whose work has been selected by a panel of fashion-industry jurors. Held at the Hyatt Regency, there will be three identical shows throughout the day. Tickets are still available for purchase here. Check back next week for a behind-the-scenes look at the student designers preparing for the show.
Over at The Hamilton, “Femme Adorn” will feature looks from three different vintage collectors; So Passé, Ginger & Judy and Luxx Boutique. The show starts at 9 p.m. and is followed by an after-party with Bree Rose on the turntables.
