Northwoods Republican Sean Duffy, running to hold onto Dave Obey’s old seat in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, just released a new ad in which he scales a utility pole.
“In my younger days, I competed in lumberjack sports, and I was best at the pole climb. I learned some lessons our country could use to climb back. We need firm footing by reforming our tax code. We have to be strong, working to create jobs by reducing red tape.”
Duffy’s running against Democrat and former state senator Pat Kreitlow, who tends to release more sedate media, such as this photo of him (left) chatting with a farmer in the district.
