Fashion Week Day 4

Fashion Week Day 4

1. Scene/Milieu Valentine’s Day in the tents! I woke up late and made it by the skin of my teeth to the first show. It was slightly warmer today, with some nice bright sunshine, once I got outside into Times Square. Those rays definitely elevated my sleep-deprived mood after my late night in Tribeca. Too bad my hotel room window faces a brick wall, so I never know if it’s sunny. There were lots of people in line this morning for the shows, but at least they’re not as pushy as people in the evening. I was definitely looking forward…

There were lots of people in line this morning for the shows, but at least they’re not as pushy as people in the evening. I was definitely looking forward to a little break between shows in the afternoon. Later, I was off to the Bryant Park Hotel for a presentation, then back to the tents, cab to Chelsea Piers for another presentation and once again back to the tents to end the day.

2. Celebrity Sightings / Who’s Who?

At Luca Luca, there were quite a few: Tinsley Mortimer, socialite and Page 6 regular in the NY Post; Kelly Killoran Bensimon from “Real Housewives of New York City;” supermodel of the ’80s Carol Alt, still looking fabulous; and Constantine Maroulis of “American Idol” and Broadway fame. The other shows didn’t produce any celebrity fruit, as far as I know.
