What’s more fun than those pop-up Halloween costume shops? Walker’s Point resto c. 1880 (1100 S. First St.) is doing a Halloween huzzah with its October wine list. Each cocktail is like a different persona. For the list, general manager Joshua Wolter looked for muse material in Milwaukee-born celebs. Stars such as Deidre Hall – Dr. Marlena Evans from the daytime TV soap “Days of Our Lives.” The cocktail Doc’s Possession – gin, campari, crème de pamplemousse, bitters – is inspired by the memorable “Days” story line when Marlena was possessed by the devil. Another cocktail, The Ivory Ticker, has Liberace’s name all over it. “Decadent” is the intended impression of this mix of aquavit, Lillet rosé, and golden raisin and Riesling syrup. The Gin Wilder (a shout-out to Gene Wilder) combines Rehorst gin, cocoa nutmeg syrup and xocalatl mole bitters. More cocktails, too. For more, check out the cocktail list at c. 1880. Hours: Tues-Thurs 5:30-10 p.m.; Fri-Sat 5-10 p.m.
