ESPN’s Battle of the Ballparks is well under way as the Elite Eight – which includes Miller Park – fight to the end.

After beating Dodger Stadium last night, Miller Park is up against Pittsburgh’s PNC Stadium today. Sometime around noon Wednesday, fans will know the final four ballparks and whether or not Miller Park has made it through to the Final Four.

Fans can vote online between Camden Yards and Target Field; Fenway Park and Safeco Field; AT&T and Wrigley Field.

Let’s think about this though. Who can resist the perfect seating that overlooks the sausage races (and game), fresh brews, the sound of a home run that sends Bernie down Miller Park’s famous slide? We all know which ballpark should win this. Vote now!

Update 6/21: Miller Park beat out PNC Park and has advanced to the Final Four. Jim Caple of ESPN writes, “Milwaukee fans have done a great job of getting out that vote.” Caple also writes, “But as we head into the Final Four, here’s hoping the other cities get behind their ballparks so that the eventual champion is, shall we say, a little more reflective of the national view.”

Update 6/22: Miller Park is now in the final match-up for ESPN’s Battle of the Ballparks. Get your vote in before 8 p.m. today. The contest has essentially become the Nation against Milwaukee at the urging of writer Jim Caple. Think we can hack it? (For the record Caple, Miller Park serves plenty of microbrews, too.)
