As last weekend was the unofficial summer kick-off, the Milwaukee Public Museum is giving us one more reason to celebrate. On top of the marvelous festivals and lake life, there will be a free exhibit all summer long.    Art and the Animal will showcase some of the best animal art in the world. This annual juried touring exhibition showcases more than 60 masterpieces from The Society of Animal Artists, an international arts organization based in New York. As last weekend was the unofficial summer kick-off, the Milwaukee Public Museum is giving us one more reason to celebrate. On top of the marvelous festivals and lake life, there will be a free exhibit all summer long. 

 

Art and the Animal will showcase some of the best animal art in the world. This annual juried touring exhibition showcases more than 60 masterpieces from The Society of Animal Artists, an international arts organization based in New York. This exhibit has been featured at more than 50 venues throughout North America.

 

On display through September 3, the exhibit is free with museum admission, which is $14 for adults. More information about museum rates and hours is available here.
