6 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: Sept. 30-Oct. 3

It’s a busy week in brew city.

Oktoberfest fun is still in full swing this week. Check out our list to see what’s happening when it comes to German celebrations. For other events, keep reading.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

Westallion Brewing is featured at the Piwo Patio Party & Cafe at the Polish Center of Wisconsin (6941 S. 68th St., Franklin) from 4 to 8 p.m. Try free samples and full pours, and purchase six-packs and bombers to go.

Thursday, Oct. 1

Small Plates, Big Brews comes back to Riveredge Nature Center (4458 County Rd. Y, Saukville) at 6 p.m. Enjoy beers from The Fermentorium paired with great food in a fantastic setting. Space is limited and cost is $75.

Third Space Brewing takes over a few of the taps at The Lokal Beer Garden (8415 W. Sura Ln.) at 4 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 2

The theme at this week’s Party on Pitt (117 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is City of Festivals. Pretend you’re at Summerfest listening to an aging rock band while scarfing down Saz’s. The party is hosted by Broken Bat Brewing and MobCraft. Reserve a picnic table or a plot of real estate and feel like a normal beer-drinking human for a few hours. The fun runs from 3:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Party on Pitt lasts until the weekend of October 23.

At noon, Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) releases the delicious Everything Eventually Citra Pale Ale and It Just Does Weird Things DDH IPA. Preorder you cans on Wednesday if you’d like.

Saturday, Oct. 3

Compare beers from MobCraft and Indeed Brewing on Zoom at 7 p.m. Try similar styles from each brewery side-by-side and discuss your findings. The guided tasting is $40 and includes the beer. Preorders close on Friday at noon and pickup begins Saturday at noon.
