Draft & Vessel Tosa (7479 Harwood Ave.) is hosting two Belgian beer and pie tasting events this week. The first is Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For $50 you can taste seven Belgian beers and four traditional Belgian pies.
There’s no bottle release this week at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.), but Ray of Sunshine Cream Ale will be hitting the taps. Unrelated, 1840 is greeting 2023 by adding the first Skeetch table in Wisconsin.

The second Belgian beer and pie tasting at Draft & Vessel Tosa is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $50.
Brandon Nacke is the local artist featured at gallery night at Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) from 5 to 10 p.m. Check out his work and listen to live music from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 7
Get a taste of non-alcoholic beverage options for Dry January at N/A Day, taking place at The Cooperage (822 S. Water St.) from noon to 4 p.m. Cost is $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Try samples from the likes of Lagunitas Brewing, Lakefront Brewery, Sprecher Brewing, Untitled Art and more.
Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is releasing Cautiously Optimistic, a hazy IPA.
