22 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Feb. 13-18

Check out all the beer-related events happening around Mardi Gras and Valentine’s Day this week.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

It’s Mardi Gras, and if you can’t find Abita beer in town, you’re not looking. The Louisiana brewery is taking over the taps at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) at 4 p.m., the Stilt House (W62 N630 Washington Ave., Cedarburg) at 5 p.m., and Milwaukee Burger Company-Franklin (6421 S. 27th St.) at 6 p.m. Five Abita Beer taps will be flowing at Crawdaddy’s (9427 W. Greenfield Ave.) during their Mardi Gras bash, and Abita Mardi Gras Bock is the featured beer all day at Maxie’s (6732 W. Fairview Ave.).

Faklandia Brewing (3807 S. Packard Ave.) celebrates Mardi Gras, starting when the doors open at 4 p.m. The celebration includes the release of a beer inspired by the flavor of a hurricane.

Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) is hosting a date night workshop. Couples can make heart-shaped mosaics from 6 to 8 p.m. Several packages are available.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

Once again, weddings and vow renewals are taking place at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.). The slots are full, but there will be mass vow renewals at noon at 6 p.m.

Supermoon Beer Company (3145 S. Howell Ave.) is hosting at Valentine’s Flight Night. For $40 you get four Supermoon beers paired with three pierogi from Hot Dish Pantry and a dessert. Reservations are required.

An Evening at Tony’s is happening at Company Brewing (735 E. Center St.). Reservations at the pop-up Italian restaurant are $65, or $75 if you want to add a beverage pairing. Seatings are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) has a prix fixe menu planned for Valentine’s Day. Seatings for the three-course dinner run from 5 to 9 p.m. Reservations are $38.

Decide for yourself if Drekker is indeed for lovers as is advertised by Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.). North Dakota’s standout brewery takes over the taps at 4 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 15

Sample a few beers from Revolution Brewing, including a couple of barrel-aged treats, at Magellan’s on Main Street (370 W. Main St., Waukesha) from 5 to 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 16

Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is releasing Pretty Good, a new amber that is being added to the regular lineup.

Try samples from Explorium Brewpub at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is offering samples from Hinterland Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 17

Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) hosts its second annual Chili Cookoff at 2 p.m. Participants get their first beer free.

Downtown Racine Craft Beer Week kicks off in, well, Racine. Check out the event site for details.

Boulevard Brewing is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 3 p.m.

Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) is the place to try SapSap Eat’s new concept, Udon. The pop-up will be there from 4 to 8 p.m. offering Laotian food with a hint of barbecue. 

Sunday, Feb. 18

Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) is pairing its beers with desserts from Sweetly Baked. Cost is $40 and the decadence starts at 2 p.m.

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is hosting a Winter Doggy Social from noon to 4 p.m. Bring your dog and grab a beer or two.

Barks N’ Brews is happening at Mac’s PET DEPOT Barkery (2197 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.). There will be dogs, pet photography and beer for the humans.
