22 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: June 13-19

Beer festivals, brewery anniversaries and an extremely full slate of other craft beer events are on tap this week.

Tuesday, June 13

The release of Lakefront Brewery’s Biergarten Lager is happening at an appropriate place, the Estabrook Park Beer Garden (4600 Estabrook Pkwy.). Get there at 6 p.m. to try some.

Wednesday, June 14

Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) celebrates nine years of awesomeness by inviting Supermoon Beer Company in for a tap takeover. Try a few Supermoon beers from 4 to 10 p.m.

The Plant & Sip Succulent Bar comes to The Tap Yard – Brookfield (2925 North Barker Rd.) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets are just $60 and include all the tools you need to build a cool arrangement and a beverage.


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

Learn how to paint a cool ice cream cone at The Tap Yard – Milwaukee (1555 Rivercenter Dr.). From 6 to 8 p.m. you can follow along with an instructor and sip on a beer or two while you’re doing it. Tickets are just $30.

The weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is Damsel, a gose made with pink peppercorns, pink sea salt, pink guava, pineapple, pink pitaya and hibiscus. It’ll be on tap on Wednesday. Preorder has begun and pick up is available starting Friday.

Stop by Magellan’s On Main (370 W. Main St., Waukesha) from 5 to 7 p.m. to taste a few beers from Eagle Park Brewing.

Sprecher’s Traveling Beer Garden comes to Cooper Park (8701 W. Chambers St.) until June 25. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

Thursday, June 15

The Oak Creek Beer Garden happens once a month, and it’s on tap for this weekend at Drexel Town Square (361 W. Town Square Way). Enjoy a beer or two, food and live music from 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) also has a Plant & Sip Succulent Bar this week. The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and tickets are $60.

Try samples from Gathering Place Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Friday, June 16

Discount Liquor Milwaukee is offering samples from Third Space Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) and Broken Bat Brewery (3 to 6 p.m.).

Hop Valley Brewing and Lake Louie Brewing are handing out samples from 3 to 5 p.m. at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.).

Component Brewing will be pouring for one night only this summer at the Muskego Community Beer Garden at Veterans Memorial Park (W182 S8200 Racine Ave.) from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Live music and food from from Rot’s Hots will be there too.

Saturday, June 17

Eagle Park is marking six years in the business with a big party at its Muskego tap room (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.) from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The huge event includes a full slate of live music and a ton of beer releases. Eagle Park has nine beers hitting the tap lines to mark the occasion, including a few barrel-aged gems.

Component Brewing Company (2018 S. 1st St.) has been crafting beer nearly as long as Eagle Park. Component celebrates five years of business on Saturday with a party that includes music, food and a few special beers. The two anniverary beers scheduled for the event are Log, a barrel-aged stout, and Crystal Timber New England IPA.

The Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival returns to Bayshore (5800 N. Bayshore Dr.) and it gives you the opportunity to taste beer from more than 30 Wisconsin breweries. Hours are noon to 5 for VIPs and 1 to 5 p.m. for general admission. Tickets start at $65.

Fans of fruit beers need to head to The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Highway Z) from 1 to 9 p.m. A few standout fruit-forward beers are hitting the taps, including a few gems from New Glarus.

The Beer Garden Road Show brings beers from 1840 Brewing to Ellsworth Park (600 Ellsworth Ln., Bayside) from 2 to 9 p.m.

Broken Bat Brewery (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is putting its indoor Wiffle Ball field to good use with Brews & Bats for Wishes. Proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. You don’t have to play to participate. The event includes a block party and a $30 ticket gets you in the door and a free drink ticket.

Try Bofferding beer at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from noon to 3 p.m.

Terrapin Beer Company is offering samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.

Monday, June 19

Cheers to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) for having Teacher Appreciation Day. From 2 to 9 p.m. Lakefront is offering teachers (with a valid work ID) a free beer as a way to say thanks, and to help them get their summer started right.
