The beer release this week at Supermoon Beer Company (3145 S. Howell Ave.) sounds like a doozy. Epitope Bière de Coupage blends a young saison made with Wisconsin hops with a French oak fermented farmhouse ale that Supermoon has been aging for three years. Expect a whole lot of flavor complexity. Presale has started. Pickup and a pop-up taproom is happening from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
3 Sheeps Brewing (1837 North Ave., Sheboygan) has a big release day planned. They’re offering four packs of the coffee variant of The Wolf barrel-aged stout. Each pack includes a can made with coffee by a different roaster, including one by Vennture Brew Co. The four packs are extremely limited so get there early. The brewery is also releasing a perfect beer for fall, Pumpkin Spice Veneration. The Belgian quad is made with figs, molasses and pumpkin spice, and is aged in rye whiskey barrels. 3 Sheeps will also have Deeply Rooted Barleywine, made with orange peel and Ecuadorian vanilla, on tap. That’s a big day.
