Another fun-filled week wraps up with Wückfinter, the annual beer fest celebrating February in Milwaukee.

Wednesday, Feb. 21

Supermoon Beer Company (3145 S. Howell Ave.) is releasing six very limited beers from Black Rose Blending. Order online for pickup this week during Supermoon’s taproom hours.

Just a reminder that tickets for Eagle Park Brewing’s Joint Beer Fest on Saturday, April 20, are on sale now. Getting them early is highly recommended.

Friday, Feb. 23

Try samples from Indeed Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) hands out samples from Door County Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

Saturday, Feb. 24

The Urban Candlelight Hike starts in Three Bridges Park (610 S. 35th St.) at 5:30 p.m. The pre-hike party at Third Space Brewing Company (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) begins at 4 p.m. The post-hike party runs until 10 p.m. at Third Space and includes drink specials for participants.

Beer at the Bank is happening at The Milwaukee County Historical Society (910 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.) from 1 to 4 p.m. Taste beers from local brewers like Amorphic Beer, Ope! Brewing Co., Vennture Brew Co., MobCraft Beer and Supermoon. Tickets are $60.

Milwaukee’s Got Talent takes place at Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) from 3 to 7 p.m. The talent show benefits Savage Support, which provides day-to-day assistance for those battling breast cancer.

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) hosts a Onesie Dance Party from 8 to midnight. The $10 cover grants you access.

Yoga On Tap comes to Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) at 11 a.m. The cost for the yoga session is just $20.

Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is releasing Evolving Perspectives, a West Coast IPA.

Try samples from Explorium Brewpub at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 25

Wückfinter returns to Ray’s Wine & Spirits (8930 W. North Ave.). The outdoor party features more than 30 Three Floyds and WarPigs brews, including a few Dark Lord varieties and the fantastic Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker Imperial IPA. The party runs from noon to 5 p.m.

The Engine House 19 Chili Cookoff comes to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 1 to 5 p.m. Fifteen teams compete and local firefighters benefit. Sounds like a win for everybody.

A pop-up farmers market is taking place at Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) from noon to 3 p.m. Fourteen vendors will be there.
