Celebrate 50 years of Milwaukee’s Mexican Fiesta this weekend with “fun, food, Mariachi and Fiesta for everyone.” Originally founded in 1973 as a celebration of Mexican Independence Day, the event has continued to share Mexican and Hispanic culture and raise over $1.7 million in scholarships for Hispanic students.

2. Country in the Burg

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | CEDAR CREEK PARK

Country music lovers will jam out at this end-of-summer festival. Six acts are performing, including Grammy-nominated singer Lee Brice and singer-songwriter Sara Evans.
