12 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: Sept. 8-12

Oktoberfest is in the air. Can you smell the märzen? Also, it’s another big week for Third Space Brewing’s anniversary celebration.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

Stock House Brewing (7208 W. North Ave.) is releasing Gala 83. It’s beer made with passionfruit and one that includes a promotional video.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) continues its anniversary celebration by tapping Mystic Pancakes Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.


This year’s survey covers more than 60 categories, including restaurants, retailers, salons, financial advisers and much, much more. Vote often – polling reopens every day, and every time you vote, you will be automatically entered into a drawing to win one of five awesome prizes!


Thursday, Sept. 10

Indeed Brewing Company (530 S. 2nd St.) celebrates one year in Milwaukee by releasing four different infusions of its Hello, Milwaukee Lager, a collab with 1840 Brewing. The four include: one infused with lime zest and lime juice; one made with coffee beans; another infused with blueberries, blackberries and raspberries; and one made with bitters and lemon juice.

The second weekend of the month-long Oktoberfest celebration at Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Ave.) starts on Thursday. Festivities run through Sunday. See the details and reserve a spot at the event page.

Join Third Space founders Andy Gehl and Kevin Wright on Instagram Live at 5 p.m. They’ll be discussing the GABF award-winning Unite the Clans Scottish Ale, which is the featured beer of the week.

Friday, Sept. 11

“I Miss Tailgating” is the theme at this weekend’s Party on Pitt, the large outdoor beer patio adjacent to Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.). Expect tailgate grub and plenty of Wisconsin sports. Tickets are $30 and essentially serve as a $30 beer voucher. Hours are 3:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Check out the details on Facebook.

Third Space releases Happy Culture, a pale ale collab with Madison’s Working Draft Beer Company. It’s available in the taproom and in six-packs.

Saturday, Sept. 12

Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) is releasing its Festbier at 2 p.m. They’re also offering tasty Oktoberfest bundles which include a four-pack of Festbier, a half pound of Usinger’s Landjager sausage and a huge pretzel from Milwaukee Pretzel Company.

Sprecher’s Roll Out the Barrel traveling beer garden comes to Center Street Park (6420 W. Clarke St.) from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Kegs for a Cause comes to Biloba Brewing (2970 N. Brookfield Rd.) from 1 to 5 p.m. It gives you a chance to drink beers from Biloba and donate to an amazing charity.

Component Brewing is pouring its brews at the New Berlin beer garden at City Center Plaza (15040 W. Library Ln.) from noon to 8 p.m.

The Ultimate Beer Run starts on Saturday and runs through Sept. 19. Run a 3.7K route between Third Space Brewery and City Lights Brewing (2200 W. Mt. Vernon Ave.) at any time during the week. The $25 registration gets you a pint of beer at each location and a souvenir mask.
