11 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: July 10-12

Things are picking up this week for Milwaukee’s craft beer scene. Cheers to Gathering Place for hosting yet another Riverwest Food Truck Rally.

Friday, July 10

Pups & Suds is coming to Nettesheim Park (N26 W27495 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee). Brewfinity will be pouring beers from 5 to 9 p.m. and there will be a dog lure course up and running from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Proceeds help support HAWS.

Mega Beer distributes some amazing beer brands, and a rep is bringing samples of a few to Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis) from 3 to 5 p.m. Discount Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is pouring samples from Revolution Brewing of Chicago from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, July 11

3 Sheeps Brewing is hosting free Battle of the Bands events across eastern Wisconsin, with a trip to Los Angeles to record at The Les Paul Recording Studio on the line. The events in Appleton, Milwaukee and Madison are part of its partnership between its Wisconsinitis cream ale and the Les Paul Foundation. Milwaukee’s battle happens at Vivarium (1818 N. Farwell Ave.) from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

The eighth annual Riverwest Food Truck Rally is going down at Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.). The block party features good food and beer, which is really all you need.

Ope! Brewing (6751 W. National Ave., West Allis) hosts the first of four Drunken Volleyball Tournaments at 11 a.m. The day includes flip cup and combining beer with volleyball. Entry fee for a team of six is $240 and sign up is live.

North Pillar Brewing Co. is bringing it’s final pop-up beer garden of the summer to Mukwonago Park (S100 W31900 County Hwy. LO) from 3 to 7 p.m.

North Pillar Brewing (212 E. North St., Waukesha) is also hosting a yoga session from 11 a.m. to noon. The $20 cost includes a beer.

Take a trip to Belshire Brewing (1923 Wisconsin 175, Richfield) for another Wisconsin Brewery Running Series event. The casual 5K begins at 11 a.m. and the entry cost starts at $44.

Sunday, July 12

MobCraft Beer (505 S. Fifth St.) is making its Sunday blood drive fun. The drive happens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes distractions like live Irish music from noon to 3 p.m. and giveaways. The first 20 donors get a free ticket to Irish Fest for their services. Signing up is suggested.

Brewery yoga comes to Eagle Park Brewing (815 E. Hamilton St.) at 11 a.m. The 45-minute session costs $15 and includes a discounted beverage when you’re done.

Saturday, July 25: The renamed Milwaukee Brew & Spirits Fest (formerly Milwaukee Brewfest) returns to McKinley Park (1750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.) from 2 to 6:30 p.m. This year, they’re adding spirit sampling to the mix of amazing beers. The idyllic lakefront location remains the same.

Saturday, Aug. 1: The 10th Annual Wisconsin IPA Fest returns to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) and gives you the chance to sample some of the best IPAs that breweries in the Badger State can offer. Tickets start at $50.
