You Can Vote for American Family Field to Become a LEGO Set

Would you buy the American Family Field LEGO set?

Another Milwaukee landmark has been submitted in the LEGO Ideas competition. The latest design is modeled after American Family Field, previously known as Miller Park (sigh).

Username Czar BRICKolas II submitted the design to the LEGO Ideas competition in December. So far the field has just under 900 votes, and 323 days left to gain more support. To make it to the next stage in the competition, the model will need at least 10,000 votes.

The American Family Field LEGO set is 2,800 pieces and shows both the inside and outside of the park. The design shows off the brick and cream colors, the field, the Miller Park Clocktower, the stands, the scoreboard, a retractable roof (that works!), Bernie’s Landing and even the retired numbers.

This is not the first Milwaukee idea to be submitted either. Earlier in January, a design for the Milwaukee Art Musem was submitted by artist Vida András and the design was able to reach the needed 10,000 votes. The model then qualified in the top 25 product ideas and is under review by the brains at LEGO. We’ll find out if the MAM qualified for the next round on May 3.

As for the American Family Field set, the decision is currently in our hands. If you want to see Milwaukee’s home field on toy shelves, start voting. You can do so by going to the LEGO Ideas page and hitting “Support.” You will have to either log in with an existing account or create one to vote.
