This International Women’s Day Event Is a Foodie’s Dream

Let’s Talk Womxn is hosting an evening full of food, drinks and dancing.

The Milwaukee branch of Let’s Talk Womxn – a dynamic initiative of woman entrepreneur-led businesses – has something special lined up for International Women’s Day (March 8). It’s an evening extravaganza incorporating food, drinks and dancing featuring more than 20 entrepreneurs.

The Starling (102 N. Water St.) is the event’s location, and the bash happens from 6-9 p.m. Tickets run $80 per person, with proceeds going to support small women-owned Milwaukee businesses.

VOTE FOR MILWAUKEE’S BEST BEER!

What’s Brew City’s best? We’ve picked 16 of our favorite Milwaukee craft beers for a March Madness-style tournament, but it’s up to you to pick the winner! Will it be bright and hoppy? Dark and malty? A zippy lager? Every one is worthy of the title; who will claim the sudsy crown?

Besides music by DJ TruStar, they’ll feed you at tasting and treat stations. Featured vendors include Anomoly Catering, Batter MKE, BB Cakes, Buddah Luv, Charcuter-Me, Cocoa Tree Confectionary, Cottonmouth Cotton Candy, Delicious Bites, Flour Girl & Flame, Frannie’s Market, Full Circle Healing Farm, Happy Joy Candy Floss, Honeypie Cafe, Hot Boxed Pizza, Joy Ice Cream Social, Meat on the Street, Modern Maki, Pasta Tree, Outwoken Tea, Style Pop Cafe, Sweetly Baked, The Real Good Life, and Tots on the Street.

Let’s Talk Womxn Milwaukee is part of a national powerhouse with groups in 14 cities. We’re talking some 700 restaurateurs and entrepreneurs strong.
