11 Things to Do This Weekend: May 2-5

Does May mark the beginning of Milwaukee summer? Well, we’d like to think so, because there are lots of events going on in anticipation!

Flight Night

Now is the perfect time to taste test some brews before the summer season starts. The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center (1111 E Brown Deer Rd.) hosts Flight Night on Thursday, May 2, from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $60 and include samples from seven well-known Wisconsin breweries. You can also meet several of the center’s raptors, including hawks, falcons and a Bald Eagle.

Milwaukee Beer Week

Some may say it is the best week of the year: Milwaukee Beer Week returns from May 3-7 at various locations throughout Milwaukee. Central Waters kicks off the week followed by a brunch, a patio party, a one-year anniversary party, brewery tours, axe throwing and more.
