3. Café con Arte: Her Colorful World – Su Mundo de Colores

A new exhibition at Latino Arts Gallery, Her Colorful World – Su Mundo de Colores by Issis Macias, opens this weekend. The official opening is on Friday, and at the event you can learn more about the art and the unique techniques used to make it on a tour, all while enjoying fresh churros and coffee. The English led tour starts at 8:30 a.m. and the Spanish tour starts at 9:30 a.m.

This weekend only, conductor Ken-David Masur will lead an imaginative program beginning with Rossini’s William Tell overture and ending with Respighi’s Pines of Rome. Both Friday and Saturday’s performances will have a pre-concert talk.
