3 New Things Coming to Milwaukee This May

A new downtown vintage shop, EP from The Keystones and a thriller from Milwaukee native Andrea Bartz.

1. Do You Work Hard Enough?

For months, The Keystones have been trickling out explosive, propulsive songs like “Shinjuku” from this EP. Hints of nu-metal and punk beef up lyrics about burnout and workplace power dynamics. It’s out this month.

2. Duotone Modern

Vintage furniture, lighting, art objects and home decor are the focus of this sleek, chic new store. It’s now open at
534 N. Water St.

3. The Last Ferry Out

When Abby seeks closure on the tropical island where her fiancée died, she meets a close-knit group of expats that she begins to suspect includes her killer. This new thriller from Milwaukee native Andrea Bartz is out May 20.
