There’s a New Park at Fondy Market

The weekly food segment on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee gives listeners a healthy dose of openings, events and culinary banter.

This Bites talks food every Friday at 8 a.m. on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. If you snooze and miss it, you don’t lose! You can always stream it. On our Sept. 15 episode, 88Nine’s Tarik Moody and I talk about the new Fondy Stormwater Park at Fondy Farmers Market (which runs until the Saturday before Thanksgiving).

Tarik recently visited the new location of Pete’s Fruit Market on the corner of North Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive. He talks about that new store and its specialties. In events, this Thursday is Outpost Natural Foods’ urban barn dance happening Thursday, Sept. 21 at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery.
