Corduroys, carpets of crunchy leaves, hearty soups that wrap you up in a warm hug. Fall – you know the drill. Get thee to a coffeehouse because it is open season for that autumn-inspired granddaddy of all hot java drinks, the pumpkin spice latte. But do yourself a favor and lean into a local version of the omnipresent PSL, like the Autumnal Spice Latte from Valentine Coffee, pictured here, made with the roaster’s full-bodied Espresso Dolce blend and a house-made syrup incorporating warming spices from Penzeys.

Here’s a list of other coffee shops offering a sip of the season:
1. Colectivo Coffee
Head to Colectivo Coffee to grab their pumpkin spice fluff latte. This fall drink is made with their dairy-free pumpkin spice marshmallow fluff and mixed with their signature espresso for a delicious latte.
2. Blue Hour Coffee
This new East Side cafe offers its first pumpkin spice latte. Crafted with brown sugar, candied pumpkin seeds, ginger, pumpkin puree and rich condensed milk, Blue Hour Coffee’s latte makes a great fall beverage for those with a sweet tooth. Ask for their complementary cheesecake cold foam on top if you’re looking for more decadence.
3. Elevate Coffee
Made with a house made pumpkin puree and their signature doppio of espresso, Elevate Coffee’s pumpkin spiced latte is sure to get you up in the morning. We recommend getting it topped with whipped cream and their “pumpkin magic drizzle” to add a little sweetness to your October.
4. Grace Coffee
Stop by the Third Ward this fall to try a whole slew of pumpkin spiced drinks from Grace Coffee. Their pumpkin spiced latte is made with a smooth pumpkin puree base and seasonal fall spices, or sip on their pumpkin sweet cream cold brew, topped with vanilla cold foam. If you’re aiming for a little less caffeine, their pumpkin or maple chai also makes a great seasonal beverage.
5. Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co.
Anodyne Coffee’s signature fall drink is back in season. Their edelwood latte, previously called their maple pie spice latte, is a delicious mix of creamy milk, warm pumpkin spice and a subtle kick of cinnamon, making it a perfect drink to enjoy on a chilly day.
6. La Finca Cafe
If you’re looking for a spin on the classic fall latte, then head over to La Finca Cafe in Saint Francis and grab their pumpkin horchata latte. Made with warm cinnamon, real pumpkin and cold foam to finish. This drink is a great order for those looking to add a little spice to their season.
