A very eclectic episode of This Bites, on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. It includes incredibly hot pasta, vegan food, a Vietnamese crab shack and more.

Tarik Moody, the digital director at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, loves hot food. It is the main topic on this week’s This Bites (Fridays, 8 a.m.). Tarik and I move from talking about these nuclear-hot, commercially made ramen noodles he ordered from Korea (and a certain challenge that people are doing to prove their digestive prowess). That segues into the opening of King Crab Shack on Brady Street. It specializes in seafood with a Vietnamese twist.

We also work in a little scuttlebutt about vegan foods (at recently expanded Urban Beets) and the recent Brewing Bites & Flights event put on by Chicago craft brewery Moody Tongue at Third Coast Provisions
