Summerfest Has a Pick-a-Patch Station, and It’s Super Fun

Plus it’s free!

One new perk at Summerfest this year is the “Pick-a-Patch” station at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater House. Head there to deck out a free, customized fanny pack.

You start by selecting the color of your pack – they come in yellow, blue, white, pink and black – and then choose your favorite patches to iron on. The patch designs are inspired, in part, by the city, live music and Summerfest, with some colorful options being tidal waves, guitars, smiley faces and lightning bolts.

Once you pick your patches, an AmFam representative will help put together your customized fanny pack.

Summerfest representative Kellie McGuinnis says the packs are first-come, first-serve daily, with 300 available every day of the festival.

To get a pack, go to the Amphitheater House through the mid-gate entrance.  You must be at least 18-years old to participate.

The fanny packs and custom designs are free to concertgoers, but you’ll have to provide your name, phone number and email address.
