Save the Date: ‘Beyond Monet’ Will Open This October

We now have dates for Milwaukee’s next immersive art experience.

An immersive art experience highlighting Claude Monet’s most iconic works of impressionism will open in Milwaukee on Oct. 20. “Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience” will showcase more than 400 works at the Wisconsin Center, including The Water Lilies Series, Impression: Sunrise and Poppies. Tickets will go on sale beginning at 9 a.m. May 5 at monetmilwaukee.com.

The exhibition, produced by Paquin Entertainment Group, builds on the unprecedented global success of “Beyond Van Gogh,” which has sold over 3 million tickets globally and was extended twice in Milwaukee due to its success.

“We’re thrilled to partner again with Paquin Entertainment Group to bring another spectacular immersive experience to Milwaukee,” Wisconsin Center District President and CEO Marty Brooks said. “Every guest to the Wisconsin Center can look forward to our signature bold, proud, experience-obsessed delivery of service.”

Brought to life by Mathieu St-Arnaud, Félix Fradet-Faguy and the creative team at Normal Studio, “Beyond Monet” will shed new light on what the world thought it knew about Monet.

“Combining technology with pieces that were crafted to perfection, ‘Beyond Monet’ is redefining what art means to people,” Paquin Entertainment Group producer and CEO Gilles Paquin said. “It has elevated artwork to the next level, allowing us to form new relationships with notable masterpieces that were just not possible in previous years.”

After entering the Garden Gallery, visitors will be transported into the biggest feature area of the exhibit. Taking inspiration from Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris, the designated home of Monet’s masterpieces, guests will be able to freely roam the oval-shaped Infinity Room to absorb the artist’s bright and colorful paintings. Monet’s stunning imagery will encompass every surface of the room from floor to ceiling.

“’Beyond Monet’ builds on the global success of ‘Beyond Van Gogh,’ and spans 50,000 square feet with over 1 million cubic feet of space, making it one of the largest immersive experiences in North America,” Paquin Entertainment Group producer Justin Paquin said. “You truly feel like you are a part of the bright and colorful world of Claude Monet rather than a spectator.”
