Nominate a Worthy Milwaukee Charity to Get a Room Makeover

Do you know of a local nonprofit doing great work? Consider nominating them for this opportunity to fix up their space.

A deserving non-profit will soon be the recipient of a complete makeover thanks to the Wisconsin flooring showroom and design firm, Floor 360, who has teamed up with the national organization, Design for a Difference.

Design for a Difference is a community-driven movement that unites socially-conscious, design-driven flooring showrooms with interior designers and other businesses to give much-needed makeovers to local charities. Floor 360 will gather a team of volunteer interior designers, businesses, donors and volunteers in Milwaukee to make this makeover happen for a local non-profit.

“The Milwaukee community benefits from sharing in the joy of giving,” Kelly Kuehn, FLOOR360 Kashou Design Studio Manager and Director of Design for a Difference – Milwaukee, says.

Floor 360 invites the Milwaukee community to nominate a non-profit organization for a Design for a Difference makeover. You can work at the non-profit, or have an interest in seeing the non-profit succeed in their mission.

Many non-profits who have received makeovers have shared that because of the remodel, they were able to attract talent, add revenue streams, receive more funding and increase or upgrade programs for their community.

Ultimately, Floor 360 and Design for a Difference hope the non-profit will be able to leverage the publicity gained from the makeover and their newly well-designed functioning space to give more to the community they serve.

“Design for a Difference makeovers are the gift that keeps on giving for years and years to come long after the reveal day excitement,” Kuehn says.
