Top news in this part of the world: On the 50th anniversary of their victory in the very first Super Bowl, the Packers pulled off one of the most exciting wins in their history Sunday, beating the Dallas Cowboys 34-31, on a last-second field goal.

Speaking of King Day, president-elect Donald Trump is meeting with the civil rights icon’s oldest son on Monday, as he navigates the fallout from his Twitter blast at U.S. Rep. John Lewis.

Over the weekend, we were fascinated by Dan Egan’s piece in the Journal Sentinel about the amount of crude oil flowing through pipelines under Wisconsin.

A Milwaukee fugitive, recently added to the FBI’s 10-most-wanted list, has been arrested in El Paso, Texas.

And WISN-TV, Channel 12, points out that West Allis had a six-fold increase in homicides – going from one each in 2014 and 2015 to six in 2016.
