Morning Links for Nov. 5, 2015

Milwaukee’s 2016 Christmas tree (what?), Blake Shelton, the Bucks and much more.

We’ve got a Christmas tree! That’s right, folks. It’s a 40-foot Colorado Blue Spruce. It’s on its way to Red Arrow Park, where it’ll be part of a Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 19 at 5 p.m.

The Milwaukee Bucks prevailed over the Philadelphia 76ers last night. The win included the return of the Bucks’ Jabari Parker, who’d been sidelined with an ACL injury.

Forget winter. Let’s talk about next summer, specifically The Big Gig. Summerfest officials announced this morning that country star Blake Shelton will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on July 1, 2016.

The suspect in the killing of 5-year-old Laylah Petersen is expected in court for a preliminary hearing today.  Petersen was shot and killed on Nov. 6, 2014.
