What we’re reading on this Friday morning. After an hour-long hearing, the judge in the Slender Man stabbing case refused a motion that would have allowed one of the defendants to leave secure detention and enroll in a juvenile treatment facility. Mayor Tom Barrett, in speaking to JS reporter Tom Kertscher, was cautiously optimistic about arena talks. The newspaper also learned that the NBA (which could someday acquire the team under a buyback provision) has been involved in the talks. Wisconsinites still drink a lot. And by a lot, we mean a lot. Pfew. The Apple Watch already has 3,000 apps. But…
