Today is that most important of winter days. That old varmint Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, which supposedly means six more weeks of winter.



The Trump administration is reportedly interested in going national with Gov. Scott Walker’s 2011 Wisconsin Act 11, whose purpose is to address the state’s budget deficit.



A student at Beloit College has admitted fabricating a hate crime.



Sheriff David Clarke has revealed more than $220,000 in gifts, fees and expenses in 2016, part of a yearly required filing by the county ethics board. And according to a new survey by Public Policy Polling, Clarke’s approval rating is at 31 percent in the county.
