Morning Links for Feb. 23, 2017

Priebus and Walker, the transgender restroom debate, and Fred Usinger’s Day.

Your morning wake-up call:

Among other planned activities, the Conservative Political Action Conference, which began this week in Maryland, features a conversation between Wisconsin-reared White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Trump strategist Steve Bannon.

The CPAC event also featured a live-streamed speech by Gov. Scott Walker, who will also reportedly have a live-streamed interview with the Washington Post on Friday.

The Trump administration has reversed the Obama policy requiring public schools to let transgender students use the restroom that corresponds to their gender identity.

An inquest has been ordered in the death of a Milwaukee County Jail inmate who died of dehydration after the water was reportedly shut off in his cell.

Today is Fred Usinger’s Day, which means one free brat to anyone who enters the Old German Beer Hall. Details here.
