Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy on Sunday exercised his right to veto a trade to Cleveland, citing family and his future in the game as reasons. News of that trade – Lucroy for four minor league prospects – came out overnight Saturday.
The latest rumors have Lucroy involved in a trade to the Texas, one that could also involve Brewers closer Jeremy Jeffress and the Rangers’ rookie slugger Joey Gallo. The trading deadline is 3 p.m. Central on Monday.
