Kickapoo Cafe pairs up two worthy indulgences ‒ coffee and chocolate ‒ at this August 12 tasting at its Third Ward digs (232 E. Erie St.). Leading the event are Kickapoo Coffee’s Scott Lucey and Lynn Kronschnabel, founder of Del Sol Chocolate, a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Viroqua. Del Sol bars are (in flavors like maple sugar) have been for sale at the Erie Street cafe, whose roasting facility is also in Viroqua.
The duo will talk about how they source coffee and chocolate and how different origins and processes influence flavor.
