The reality show that’s given millions of Americans an excuse to drink wine while shouting about roses on Monday nights is now a live stage program, and it’s coming to Milwaukee.
The Bachelor Live on Stage is being co-hosted by fan favorite contestants Ben Higgins and Becca Kufrin. You may remember Kufrin as a contestant in Season 22 of “The Bachelor.” She was chosen by Arie Luyendyk Jr. as the winner, only to be dumped soon after (right there on TV!) when Luyendyk had a change of heart and went for the runner up. Kufrin rebounded by starring in a later season of “The Bachelorette.”
With all of these experiences under her belt, who better to offer relationship wisdom? Here are some of Kufrin’s most helpful tips.
Lean on your friends when you’re newly single.
Fans bought a dozen billboards around Kufrin’s hometown, Minneapolis, to keep her spirits up after her breakup. “I was humbled by all the support,” she says.
Don’t expect too much from first dates.
When you are ready to start seeing people again, don’t set your expectations sky-high. “There’s going to be some awkwardness. Just embrace it.”
Don’t try to change yourself for love.
“Be yourself,” she says. “There’s no sense in covering up who you are.”
